The Dream Crone (2000)
This image incubated many years ago to answer a personal need for a positive Crone Goddess image. Wise, knowing, and far-sighted, she stands in a landscape of dream at sunset, a plane in-between, at a time neither day nor night.
Holding between her hands a glowing ball of pure life force that resembles the initial divisions of a fertilized cell, she regards the viewer steadily. I am very proud of her expression because although done without a model, someone is definitely present.
