Visiting Faerieworlds in my own male faerie character inspired me to explore other ways to depict men in the spiritual landscape of Faerie. I enlisted my friend James as one of my first models for photographic explorations in this vein. James has a very strong Green Man quality, so I painted him on three separate shoots as three subtle variations of the same persona, in three distinctly different environments in Portland, OR.
