Her name is the feminine form of “Power” or “Energy” in Sanskrit. (FYI: “Vahni” is the much-lesser-known male equivalent; and “Tejas” represents Primal Force without gender.)
She is the essential quality of the Universal Goddess, the Feminine present in all things, even the male Gods. The woman who posed for this was a masseuse, hence the glowing palms– “She changes everything She touches.”
