Information and links concerning Orphic mysticism
Information about Eleusinian, Dionysian, Orphic, and foreign mysteries.
This is the official website of the Sabaean Temple based in Chicago, as referenced by Margot Adler in Drawing Down the Moon, and others, the hierophant of which is Odun Aréchaga. Though mainly for initiates/members-only, the "outer gates"-- named for the planets-- provide valuable information about today's Sabaeanism.
"Incarnational Life Spirituality is the foundation for all of Lorian's work. It is an affirmation of the spirit innate within our world, our humanity, and our personal lives. It sees each person as a source of spiritual power and radiance." In addition to featuring teaching from David Spangler and others, Lorian owns the rights to and can provide the music of the New Troubadours, an obscure but beautiful mellow-mystical group from the 70s. "Canticle" from Winds of Birth is one of my all-time favorite love songs to the Spirit.
"LL"stands for Love and Light, the very breath and flesh of the Creation. The Law of One, also known by the title of its first book, The Ra Material, is the great secet vade mecum of my personal spiritual life. This organization works with extremely positively polarized channels and has been quietly rippling a blessing of love and knowledge since the very early 80s.
A handful of links to various sites concerning or inspired by the Fairy/Faery/Faerie/Feri Tradition of witchcraft, passed down by Victor and Cora Anderson. There is a link on this page to WITCH EYE, "the zine of Feri Uprising" which is the voice of living Feri culture today (and which has featured some of my work).
The Church of All Worlds, which featured much of my artwork back in the 1990s in the second avatar of the magazine  Green Egg, is dedicated to evolving "a network of information, mythology, and experience to awaken the Divine within and to provide a context and stimulus for reawakening Gaea and reuniting Her children through tribal community dedicated to responsible stewardship and the evolution of consciousness."
“A community website providing a channel to discover the works and teachings of great masters, including a catalog/sample galleries of diverse sacred/spiritual artists... it is our dream to have a place where everybody can come and browse through the works of great masters. This will help change the consciousness of humanity.” Truly worth a look; I found many  inspiring images here and artists not yet known to me. This is an informational website only; “catalog” here means a listing or directory.
"Awarded by the United Nations as a model for a sustainable future, Damanhur is an eco-society based upon ethical and spiritual values. Damanhur promotes a culture of peace and balanced development through solidarity, voluntary work, respect for the environment, art and social and political commitment.... The Federation is renowned throughout the world, not least because its citizens have created the Temples of Humankind, an extraordinary, underground, work of art dedicated to the Re-awakening of the divine part of every human being, and considered by many as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The artistic workshops that have created the Temples are to be found together at Damanhur Crea, a centre for innovation, wellbeing and research, open to the public every day of the year." This community appears to be a flagship for the next evolution in human society: living in the 4th Density: aka "One World Family." The art is truly breathtaking-- also see this glorious photo book published by COSM press:
This is the website of Joya Comeaux, a spiritual wanderer who came to ground in Sedona and instigated a "ashram-like" household which I lived in February-May 2008. Joya wishes to share her vision, intent and desire for linking her present projects in Sedona and her past efforts with the world at large.
I am personally convinced that Emerson Matabele is a Wanderer, essentially "an angel in human skin." My encounter with him and his exquisite photography took place during the Uptown Art Fair in MPLS, when I was in an especially foul mood. Within moments of just being near him my energy lightened enormously, and I was psychically perceiving the currents of (invisible) radiance emanating from his eyes. I even asked him if he had ever modeled for any other artist, because I was captivated with the idea of trying to render the spiritual beauty I saw in him. He laughed and instead gave me one of his images, an African warrior, and said "That's my self-portrait." It is very hard to find photos on line of this artist because in true angel fashion he diverts attention from himself onto the work that he is doing, which in this case is a presentation of humanity all over the world in its best light. As I often say, the diametrical opposite of a sensibility like that of Diane Arbus, who was capable of making even an ordinary person seem somehow deformed and perverted, just in the act of turning her lens on them.*
This site features visionary Christian art, beginning with Br. Robert Lentz, formerly of Bridge Building Cons-- check out his "Images that Challenge" gallery. Every artist on this page does unique and beautiful work that expands the eye of vision of the sacred in the material world. One word of warning: the architecture of this siteworks very slowly with some browsers, like Firefox. (Use Safari to view with a Mac.)
